Intermittent Fasting Follow-Up, Release & Reclaim Update & More! SnackySays Newsletter #2 June 2022
Hey SnackySays Subscribers, Hey!
How are you doing today? Hope this impromptu newsletter finds you with a belly full of laughs or food...Preferably both!
This is really a follow-up to our June newsletter. After sending it off, I realized that I didn't really talk about my experience with intermittent fasting and that I also didn't provide a direct link to my YouTube shorts.
First, here's the link to my YouTube channel, please like and subscribe as YouTubers say! 😊
Second, this week's SnackySays podcast episode is all about...
In this episode, I share a bit about:
1. Why I got started with intermittent fasting (Two words: Halle Berry)
2. My rocky road to eating healthier over the last several months (I could have wept it was so frustrating)
3. Losing 30 pounds in 23 weeks
4. Several factors contributing to how, what, and when I eat nowadays
Release & Reclaim: UPDATE!
It's been a week since the official launch of Michelle & Aimee's 30-day guided journaling program, Release & Reclaim. As a result, I've been decluttering and it's been emotional. Yet as the space around me changes, I'm feeling lighter. Which is a good thing.
So far, I watch or listen to a video a day. (One new video/post gets released per day for 30 days) I haven't been completing the journal as I am wiped out from the physical and emotional work of going through belongings, notebooks (so many notebooks!!!), and all the things.
What physical work? Well somebody gotta pack up them garbage bags/recycling bags and put them out. (Not a typo, I know the grammar 😜) And let me tell you they are heavy.
Funny enough as I was listening to Michelle & Aimee during one of their Release & Reclaim videos the other day, they literally said, "Don't skip the journal!" I skipped. I'm sure that there is a lot to learn via the process of journaling during these 30 days. Just not ready yet.
That being said, what I appreciate the most about Release & Reclaim so far:
1. LIVE calls! Oh gosh, it was good to see faces and names that I hadn't seen in an age (and new-to-me faces)
2. Just knowing this program was coming up, helped me to start DOING.
3. By decluttering, cleaning, and organizing my space, I realized just how very much I needed to do these things. I've been ready for a change in my life for some time now but was simultaneously stuck in some ways. Unwittingly closing myself off from more energy and a feeling of lightness.
After only a few days of doing the literal work of decluttering, I'm already sleeping better. (My Mom, always says you can't sleep in a cluttered room) Am I sleeping like how I used to sleep when I was a “Little” before life got its claws in me? No. I don't think I'll ever sleep like that again.
But I'll take this sleep that's better than even a week ago. And it's all because the space around me is lighter and dare I say, brighter. And so too am I. 😎
If you've already started Release & Reclaim, please hit reply and share your experience with me! If you haven't joined it's not too late! There are two more live calls (that will be recorded) and the lessons/journal/R&R dashboard will remain available after the first 30 days! CLICK HERE to learn more.
