1. New Podcast, Who dis?
I started a new podcast! The Quick Story Podcast, where I share personal stories and insights. Each story is 10 minutes or less. 3-4 new episodes will be uploaded quarterly.
Unlike the SnackySays Podcast, the Quick Story podcast is hosted on bcast podcast platform. I created this podcast as part of Kenz Soliman’s live round podcast challenge for her Podcastify It course.
Quick Story Podcast is for anyone who enjoys a good "slice of life" story and those with their own stories to tell! Through storytelling, I believe we can learn, laugh, and grow together. Hopefully, these stories will encourage you to share your life experiences.

2. Putting on Your Radar…
A most gratifying read from Ruth Ridgeway on pricing your products and services. TLDR: folks may say your pricing is too high or you should charge more. So go with pricing that feels good to you!
Question: When does your passport expire? Nowadays, it takes forever (sometimes months) to get a new or renewed passport. And at least in the States, passports don’t expire on your birthday, like your Driver’s License does, so it’s easy to forget to renew. If you’re gearing up for travel this year and need a new passport, apply as soon as possible!
Free Spirit Cocktails: 40 Nonalcoholic Drink Recipes by Camille Wilson, also known as The Cocktail Snob. This full-color drink recipe book has many yummy-looking drinks! I borrowed the e-book from the library and plan on purchasing the physical copy. Sometimes, I borrow cookbooks from the library to check if there is a color photo for each recipe. Generally, I prefer to see a picture of the food and not have to use my imagination.
This is a heads-up that even though these are nonalcoholic drinks, you will still need bar tools such as a cocktail shaker.
3. Show & Tell
When you’re lactose intolerant and love whipped cream, | Coconut Whipped Topping | Trader Joe’s | Just when I thought whipped cream was a thing of the past, my friend put me on this coconut whipped topping. The coconut taste isn’t overwhelming (to me, anyway), so I think it’s a good dairy substitute.
4. Coming Soon from SnackySays
EEK! I am thrilled to announce that I’ll offer my first physical sticker for sale in the coming weeks! It will say, “Fitness is a Lifetime Journey”. If it ain’t your rodeo, this is an epiphany I had almost seven years ago, and this mindset shift changed my health and life for the better.
The image above features my initial sketches and sticker inspiration. I wanted to depict the ups and downs of a lifetime fitness journey.
Early in the design process, I decided to work with a Graphic Designer, which was a wise choice. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work with the incomparable Kristina Yu of Cheery Human Studios. She knocked it out of the park! She took my ideas in my head and my sketchbook and ran with them. I’m a huge fan of Kristina’s art, and it was surreal to work with her!
I can’t wait for you to see the final product! I hope you love it as much as I do!

5. Mini Morning Workouts
Recently, I’ve been starting my day with mini-workouts—anywhere from five minutes to thirty minutes. Getting moving early somehow makes it easier (after a sloth in December and January) to get and keep moving throughout the day!

KaisaiFit’s new mobility app! Check out her Joyful Joints workout (around 26 minutes). It’s cardio mixed with mobility. Lots of fun, and she repeats the moves, so you have plenty of time to learn them. As of this post, it’s just $38 for an annual membership during Kaisa’s birthday sale!
